What is FilSwan Multi-Chain Storage?
- MCS offers a decentralized storage solution for you to store data on Filecoin/IPFS through a Web app or API.
- MCS allows you to pay for storage with stable coins like USDC.
- MCS enables you to mint NFTs directly on the OpenSea.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, be sure to complete setting up your MetaMask and add the extension to Chrome. Add the polygon Mumbai Testnet.

Request testnet USDC/MATIC by accessing
Step 1: Go to the FilSwan Multi-Chain Storage page: mcs.filswan.com
Step 2: Connect Metamask to the Polygon Mumbai Testnet
Step 3: Click Upload More
Step 4: Attach a file and select a Lock Funds Plan. The more funds you lock, the sooner your data will be stored.
Step 5: Confirm the transaction by paying a certain amount of gas fee.
Step 6: You will get notified once the transaction is completed. You can also click the link in the dialog to check the transaction history
Step 7: Now you will be able to mint the uploaded image directly to the OpenSea. Click Mint.
Step 8: In the name field, enter an NFT name. Enter a description in the description field. Click Mint NFT. Confirm the Metamask transaction by paying the gas fee.
Step 9: Check the Minted NFT directly n the OpenSea by clicking View.
